Josiah Barrett

Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of coastal Virginia, Josiah Barrett is a musical storyteller currently weaving his tales in St. Paul, MN. Starting at age 13, Josiah's journey into the world of music began within the hallowed walls of a local Baptist church in his rural hometown, where the seeds of his passion were sown and nurtured.

Over the course of the last two decades, Josiah has honed his craft, cultivating a musical style that is a mix of southern gothic, rock, soul and folk. He also has a distinct element of storytelling. Incorporating ancient myths rich with the elements of tragedy, love, war, longing, and secret gardens. Through his lyrics and melodies, he invites listeners to embark on a journey through the depths of the human soul.
